"Dr. Phil ", Joel Merritt, the out going UWCA President, did a great job during his term. He helped us build better, stronger "relationships" with noxious weeds.

It was a pleasure to have Commisioner, Leonard Blackham, join us for a little while and share with us what the Utah Department of Agricuture is doing to help the Association out.

Fun and games were a great part of this years conference. David Turner brought his students from a local highschool to help teach and extract information for the audience about phragmites and how we can gain some control over it.

Approximately 213 people showed up for this years UWCA conference. A great meal gets them every time!

Bill Gilson (left) and Lisa Bryant (right) were UWCA Vice Presidential nominees for 2007. Bill won the tally and is now Vice President Elect 2007. Congratulations!

Another "Dr. Phil Moment" when Joel Merritt handed the gavel over to Ira Bickford, current UWCA President 2007. Ira has some new ideas to help the UWCA improve weed control in the future. We look forward to hearing his ideas.
